Easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (optional)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Meat: In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: Add the marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cooked meat. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Layer in the Crockpot:
    • Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
    • Add a layer of frozen ravioli on top of the sauce.
    • Spread a layer of ricotta cheese (if using) and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese.
    • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of meat sauce and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top.
  4. Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
